EMHC, as “extraordinary” ministers of Holy Communion, assist priests and deacons with the distribution of Holy Communion at Mass, and to the sick and homebound in their residence or at Sanford hospital.
 
Homebound Communion
Occasionally we will have homebound parishioners call to have someone bring them communion.  You will be able to visit with the parishioner to set up a day & time that works for both of you.
 
Sanford EMHC
Monday-Friday (except for Holidays), we have Holy Cross volunteers that go over to Sanford hospital to distribute communion to patients.  Each volunteer is usually scheduled one day a month, and you can go anytime during that day that works for you.
